A Day in the Life of a Countryside Child
Hi! My name is Hoa. I live in a small village in northern Vietnam. Every morning, I get up at 5:30. After breakfast, I help my parents collect water and feed the cattle. Then I ride my bicycle to school.
After school, I often help my family herd cattle in a vast pasture near our village. Sometimes, I load hay onto a buffalo-drawn cart. During harvest season, everyone works together to harvest crops in the paddy fields.
In the evening, I do my homework and play with my friends. We often fly kites in the open fields. Life in the countryside is quieter and more peaceful than life in the city. Although we do not have many modern facilities, I love my village because the local people are friendly and the environment is beautiful.
